As part of our goal to have a greater impact on our food, where it comes from, what is in it, and to rely less on the grocery store. We made the leap to add goats to the farm.

We decided Nigerian Dwarfs would be a good fit for our farm. While small they produce a lot of milk and are easier for me to handle. They are sweet and have great personalities. Overall they are sweet, fun little goats that are great for smaller farms.

We have ADGA registered goats, from good milk and show lines. We may even try showing some later on. But for now we are focused on producing for our family and learning how to make goat products!

I will be learning how to make cheese, soaps, lotions, and other goat/dairy products over the coming months.
We eventually hope to offer our products. And even have some kids available as well.
