ABOUT US
Our Story...
Here at Lullaby Creek we are nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina. It is beautiful and magical here. The land where faeries dance along the creek shore and pixie dust dances in the air. Ok, maybe not but it's nice to pretend. I do love our little farm! And I feel like there's a little magic here.

Animals have been my passion my entire life. I took an interest in raising quality animals from a young age. My parents raised dogs when I was very young and as I grew, I quickly devoured everything I could on training and raising animals. From books, videos, to being mentored, learning to show, etc. I wanted to know it all and learn how to put that knowledge into practice. When I was about 12 I got the horse bug too and started working toward learning all I could about horses also. I have been training horses since I was 15, and while I cannot train like I used to (my body just wont let me) I still work with rescues where I can, and I still have and enjoy horses.
As a teenager and young adult I raised and showed rabbits (mostly Jersey Woolies). I also raised goats (nigerians, pygmys, and nubians), Sheep (baby dolls and jacobs) which we also used to train our herding dogs (I used to raise, show and train Australian Shepherds).
I have been blessed to get to work with and be mentored by some amazing people along the way, and now I get to do what I love.
Working with animals and the land.

Over the last year we have been taking huge steps to become more self-sustainable and rely less on outside sources for our foods. This also gives us the ability to truly know what goes into our food and where it comes from.
We have added hens, and Nigerian dwarf milk goats to the farm. Over the coming months I will be learning how to make cheese, soap, lotion, and other dairy related products.
And We are adding a lot more garden spaces, as well as mushroom farming.
Over the next couple years we hope to add a miniature cow for other dairy options, and an apiary for bees.
